BA Launches new routes to Maldives and Egypt

British Airways have announced in the last two weeks some new routes for the winter. They have for several years proported to be the businessman’s airline. It is great news for Tropical Sky customers that BA are now flying into Sharm el Sheikh 3 times a week, The Maldives three times per week and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They are also returning to Montego Bay. So what do these routes have to do with businessmen? Not a lot. BA have quietly also announced that Gatwick New York is cancelled due to poor demand on the Heathrow route where they want to consolidate there efforts.

From November, Tropical Sky will be featuring these routes with great packages of different durations.

Having flown on Easyjet to Sharm, I can testify to the fact that the low cost model creaks when you do a 5 hour flights (see my blog) I can now see myself reclining on a flat bed with a nice glass of wine!
