Ideal for bird watching, diving and a relaxing holiday away from it all, the Blue Waters Inn stands on Batteaux Bay and is about an hour and a half away from the airport. This is a hotel with a really “natural” experience ideal to “kick back “ and relax.

What to do

• Learn to scuba dive - the dive shop is at the end of the jetty and the dive sites are all close to the hotel.
• Go bird watching in the grounds - there are two trails round the extensive grounds, or go into the rain forest where there are unique bird species. There is easy access to Tobago’s Main Ridge forest reserve, St Giles Island and Little Tobago (the largest seabird colony in the Southern Caribbean)
• Relax on the beach
• Go on an all day kayaking tour including a stop for lunch and some snorkelling
• Rent a car for two days and drive round the island
• Eat out in Speyside
• Visit Argyle waterfalls, Englishman’s Bay or Pirates Bay
