The Datai, situated on the north-western tip of the pristine island of Langkawi, provides an idyllic natural retreat within the depths of an ancient virgin rainforest. Set above a secluded cove, the Datai Bay resort has its own spectacular white sand beach facing the peaceful Andaman Sea. Free-standing villas featuring stylish modern wood interiors crafted from local materials are scattered throughout the forest and are connected to the resort’s central areas by a series of pathways. The resort is located next to an 18-hole championship golf course

• Jungle Villas built high up in the rainforest featuring a private deck with sun lounges and an elevated veranda which can be used for private dining and interior as above
• Superior Villas offering a much larger with large ‘day bed’, dining table for two, 37” LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, Bose CD sound system & Lavazza coffee machine. The extremely spacious bathroom includes an 8” rainfall shower, twin terrazzo vanities and his and her wardrobes
• Pool villas have all the features above plus a private deck with daybed and plunge pool.
• Range of suites with a spacious bedroom, en suite bath, a large bedroom and separate living area with dining table. All suites open out to a spacious balcony and personal BOSE sound system
• 2 sets of twin Pool Suites. Each pair of suites share a living and dining area linked by a covered walk-way, where there is also a fitted kitchen. It is necessary to reserve two pool suites together, ideal for families or two couples. The four suites also share a private swimming pool
