Located on Dhidhoo Finolhu Island in South Ari Atoll, 30 minutes by sea plane from Male, the brand new Diva Island resort & Spa is surrounded by a crystal-clear lagoon and an infinite ocean in shades of blue and turquoise. This is the place for a real break, far removed from the bustle of modern life. The resort offers fantastic facilities for water sports, a full spa and is close to the Maldives’ best snorkelling and dive sites.

Feeding rays in the lagoon around the hotel is also one of the resort’s special attractions. The sea is never closer than in the exclusive Water Villas, standing on stilts over the lagoon. You can simply slip from your own private deck into the water.

Dining at Diva Island Resort and Spa

• Senses - The view from this restaurant is out over the swimming pool and the lagoon beyond. Guests from Water Villas can have breakfast here.
• The Noo, in the centre of the island, is a spectacular, shell-shaped, beach restaurant, with a water fountain in the middle, full of sunny colours, for breakfast, lunch and themed buffet dinners.
• Senses Bar -The lounge Bar is airy and light, with a huge terrace, under a thatched roof, right at the edge of the beach, looking out over the pool and the lagoon. It serves a wide range of cocktails and international wines and spirits, including of course, French champagne.
• The circular Iru Bar features a terrace jutting out over the sea. It glows with colour and is filled with light as the sun sets. As well as a tempting selection of drinks and cocktails, snacks will also be available in the evening.
• The Veli Bar is next to a circular swimming pool that extends out to sea and serves Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese tapas during the daytime.
