Lamu forms part of the Lamu Archipelago islands, found just off the coast of Northern
Kenya. Visiting Lamu is like stepping back in time, donkey is the main form of transport, there is only one car on the island, belonging to the District Commissioner. Lamu Town is a bustling port, just off the main street which aligns the ocean, the network of narrow streets is well worth an exploration. The market, found just off the town square, is an assortment of colours, smells and tastes.
