The One & Only Ocean Club is a private estate that sits on the edge of a soft duned beach on Paradise Island. Its graceful architecture reflects the colonial heritage of the Bahamas.

Just a stone’s throw from Nassau lies the more glamorous Paradise Island. The island is only 4 miles long and a half a mile wide and is connected to Nassau by two bridges. While looking at the arching beaches lining the north shore, the elegant resorts or the championship golf course, it’s hard to believe that this was once known as Hog Island.

Paradise Island is also the jump off point for two of the most popular activities on offer - the Dolphin Encounter and Powerboat Adventures. Diving in the Bahamas is fantastic with 29 dive destinations, 700 islands and 1000+ regularly dived sites. Unspoiled reefs, a plethora of wrecks, guaranteed shark encounters, the chance to swim with wild dolphins, spectacular walls and blue holes and fantastic caves.

Rooms & Accommodation

• Room types include 106 standard rooms, suites & two-bedroom cottages. Also a collection of 3 & 4 bedroom villas.
• Guests can stay in the fifty rooms and suites in the beachfront Crescent Wing, all of them boasting direct ocean vistas, or one of the fifty-one rooms and suites in the original Hartford Wing, their views encompassing the manicured lawns or the ocean. A brand new collection of 3 and 4-bedroom villas overlook an infinity-edge swimming pool and the ocean.

Activities at One & Only Ocean Club

• Asian-inspired spa services are performed in Balinese-style villas with open-air gardens and there are also two swimming pools (one adult only) and a fitness centre offering personal training, as well as daily yoga. The 18-hole golf course is complemented by six Har-Tru tennis courts.
• Complimentary water sports include: Aqua Cat and Hobie Cat sailing, snorkeling, aqua-bikes, paddle boats, kayaking and cycling. Scuba lessons and diving excursions can be arranged.

What to do

• Take a tour or excursion. These include: Catamaran Cruising, Deep Sea Fishing, Hand feeding the stingrays at stingray city, tour Nassau in a romantic horse-drawn carriage and helicopter tours over the islands.
• Relax on the beach with a cocktail

For Children

• Kids’ only club. For younger guests aged 6-12. Kids can experience the culinary academy with One&Only chefs and learn tips from golf and tennis professionals.
• The club features a computer/technology area, arts and crafts centre, movie and video game room and library. Outdoor activities include beach games, sporting events and exploration of the marine habitat at nearby Atlantis.

Pool and Beach

• Pool & Beach: Both the pool and beach offer chaise lounges and towel service daily from 9:00am – 6.00pm.

Dining at One & Only Ocean Club

• Beach Bar & Grill: Open daily from 12.00noon – 4.00pm. This restaurant overlooks picturesque sandy Cabbage Beach offering light American and Bahamian cuisine. Open daily for lunch and beverage service beachside.
• Pool Terrace Café: Open daily from 12.00noon – 3.00pm. This restaurant is overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens featuring light Continental cuisine.
• Hartford Lounge: open daily from 5.00pm – midnight for cocktails. Complimentary hors’ d’oeuvres are available from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
• Beach Barbecue: Held at the Beach Bar on Friday Nights. One seating at 7.00pm. Bahamian Buffet, atmosphere is casual and relaxed with a dash of romance.
• Dune: Open daily serving breakfast, lunch cocktails and dinner. On the beach in the newest restaurant by the acclaimed chef Jean Georges Vongerichten. Features an open kitchen and wrap around terraces with dramatic ocean views.
