You’ll land at Windhoek International Airport where our transfer driver will be waiting for you. From the airport you will be taken to The Elegant Guest House, where you will be staying tonight. Here our representative will meet you to give you a full briefing, hand over your detailed itinerary, vouchers, road map and mobile phone.
Overnight: The Elegant, Windhoek
Today your hire vehicle will be delivered to your hotel. Then you will head in a southerly direction and drive to Corona Guest Farm, situated at the foot of the picturesque Gamsberg Pass. There are a range of activities on offer here, including game viewings and a sundowner nature drive. If you’re feeling energetic, you may wish to climb the Gamsberg Mountain.

On the third day you’ll drive to Sesriem and Sossusvlei part of the newly proclaimed Sand Sea UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the oldest desert in the world and some of the highest sand dunes on Earth. You will be staying at the Desert Homestead for the next two nights. Desert Homestead is a friendly property with a rustic, farm-style décor and beautiful surrounding views. On the morning of day 4, you will wake up early to drive into the national park area of Sesriem and onwards to Sossusvlei where you can explore the amazing scenery at sunrise, the best time to experience this area. Perhaps you may also like to take a walk to Deadvlei – home to the instantly recognisable camelthorn trees.

Day 5 & 6
Today you will drive onwards to the coast and stop off at Walvis Bay and visit the famous lagoon, where large numbers of flamingos flock. Then you’ll head on to Swakopmund – this fascinating little town has plenty of historic features to see and a number of great bars and restaurants. On day 6, you can enjoy a varied buffet breakfast before exploring the sights in Swakopmund and the Skeleton Coast. There are plenty of activities which can be arranged here, such as sand boarding, tandem parachuting, fishing and quad biking.

Today you’ll drive back to Windhoek and stay at the River Crossing Lodge. This lodge is set on a beautiful game farm just five minutes from the centre of Windhoek – you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views of the Aus Mountains from your bedroom window.
Overnight: River Crossing, Windhoek
On the eighth day you’ll leave your hire vehicle and the transfer driver will take you to Windhoek International Airport in time for your flight to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun you will clear customs and be transferred to Thamalakane Lodge where you will overnight before heading into the famed Okavango Delta.
Overnight: Thamalakane Lodge, Maun
This morning you will transfer back to Maun airport and take a light aircraft charter flight into the largest inland Delta in the world, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your days by the Delta will be spent exploring the area in classic dug-out canoes, as you pole through the floodplains in search of the local wildlife. This area is breath-taking and a great opportunity to seek out the amazing species which live here. In the late afternoon, you’ll set off on another excursion before returning to the camp by sunset.
Overnight: Moremi Crossing, Okavango Delta
Day 11, 12 & 13
Fly from Moremi Crossing further into the Okavango Delta and Pom Pom Camp. This is situated in the heart of the Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum River system. The activities you’ll enjoy over the next three days include game drives, night drives, mokoro trips and nature walks through this amazing scenery.
Overnight: Pom Pom Camp, Delta
Fly back to Maun today by light aircraft and connect with your onward flight to the home via Johannesburg.

Full details will be provided with your information pack on arrival into Windhoek, however, as a guide, the current rate is 80 Namibian Rand per person per day (approximately £5 per person).
