With no borders between the park and the reserve animals are able to roam freely, providing guests with phenomenal wildlife sightings from the comfort of the lodge. In between game drives and bush walks, you’ll be able to make the most of the facilities at one of the four lodges or camps, including lounging by the pool, sipping drinks in the lounge or indulging in a post-game drive massage. Set within the world-famous Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve is surrounded by awe-inspired natural scenery and spectacular wildlife. Kruger National Park is well known for being one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five, as well as countless other beautiful species of birds and animals.

The reserve provides four lodges and camps, each with a selection of suites to choose from.

Each suite features:

Lodge Types:

  • Selati Camp – Featuring eight luxurious suites, this camp provides guests with a lounge area, traditional boma and an outdoor swimming pool. The suites are set alongside the Msuthlu riverbed and offer beautiful views of the surrounding scenery.
  • Bush Lodge – Featuring 25 suites, the Bush Lodge has spacious viewing decks, a boma, kids centre, curio shop, a lounge area, spa, swimming pool and a wine cellar. The reserve’s leading lodge, it is renowned for its warm hospitality and views over the waterhole.
  • Little Bush Camp – The smallest of the camps, Little Bush Camp has an intimate ambience and provides guests with six suites, a boma, lounge and a swimming pool.
  • Earth Lodge – Blending seamlessly with the surroundings, this environmentally-conscious lodge offers 13 opulent suites all with private pools, as well as an outdoor boma, in and outdoor dining areas overlooking a waterhole, wine cellar, spa, curio shop and a meditation garden.

All of the lodges and camps provide an outdoor boma for memorable and social dining experiences, as well as full bar facilities. Meals here are served buffet-style, with varied and indulgent dishes that make the most of locally-sourced ingredients, from authentic South African braais (BBQs) to mezze platters and Asian-inspired meals; dietary requirements can also be catered for easily.

Children of all ages are welcome at the reserve, although children under the age of six are not permitted on game drives unless a private vehicle is booked. The Bush Lodge caters to families and offers the following facilities for children:

  • EleFun Centre – Designed to provide a safe and educational space for children during their stay, this interactive centre caters to two age groups. The Junior Tracker programme is for children aged 4-8 years and the Junior Ranger programme caters to children between 9 and 12 years. Kids can make the most of arts and crafts, bushveld games and bush walks, as well as specially-planned game drives.
