Flight Information
Direct flight time from Heathrow to Hamilton Bermuda LF Wade International Airport is approx 7 hours 30 minutes. Direct flights with British Airways are available daily except Mondays and Saturdays.
Visa Requirements
No visa is currently required for British or Irish passport holders. This should be re-checked on booking for any changes. Six months valid passport is required and you must have a return or onward ticket. All travellers should check full entry requirements prior to travel by visiting the FCO website or by contacting the relevant embassy.
Weather
Warm, humid, and generally sunny. In the summer temperatures and humidity can reach upwards of 84% but cool breezes off the Gulf Stream keep the air generally pleasant during the hotter seasons. Winters here tend to be cool and inviting. This time of year is not ideal for swimming but is perfect for scuba diving and golf. Just remember to bring a light jacket for the cooler evenings and mornings. Hurricane season is from June-November but storms often do not affect life in Bermuda. Check weather before travelling.
Language
English is the official language though many locals have a strong Bermudan lilt to their accent. Spanish, Portuguese and French are also spoken widely.
Currency
The Bermuda Dollar is the local currency although US$ are usually accepted as are credit cards in hotels and many restaurants and shops.

110V, 60 Hz, flat two pronged plugs in use (US/Canada standard)
