Bali – A Water Wonderland

Whether you are there for the amazing choice of beaches or the stunning interior scenery, there’s no getting away from water in all its forms.  One of Indonesia’s most peaceful and spiritual countries, Bali offers honeymoon-perfect white sand and millpond sea, rugged surf beaches and even volcanic, black sand beaches.  Roam further inland and you might think you’d start suffering in the 30 ºC heat, but when there’s the opportunity for a dip in a mystical hot spring or a shower under a 100ft icy waterfall, there’s always chance to refresh yourself!

The one great thing about being in Bali, is that when you want to stay dry – you can! I visited in January which is typically Bali’s wettest month, but it only rained once for about 10 minutes!  And there’s something quite special about warm, wet rain breaking through clouds and revealing a blue sky you could only find in Bali.
