Tropical Sky: Luxury Holiday Specialists; Amazing offers on Luxury Holidays, Honeymoons, Long Haul Flights & Holidays throughout the world.

Despite the average British tourist tending to tower over Thailand’s generally shorter population, this diminutive race has a national sport that would kick any 6ft rugby player into touch.  Thrill seekers wanting to see Thailand’s pocket rockets brave it out in a muay thai (Thai kick-boxing) match can do so almost every day of the year, at the major stadiums in both Bangkok and the provinces. Traditional Thai boxing matches are preceded by elaborate ceremonies and accompanied by lively music, with the biggest and most popular events held at the Lumpini Boxing Stadium and Ratchadamnoen Boxing Stadium.  Be sure to ignore street touts and get tickets from authorised sellers in the ticket booths at the stadium. Ticket prices usually vary depending on the seating, though they may be slightly higher on big event nights. If you’re keen on throwing a few punches yourself, why not take Muay Thai lessons too…
