Breathtaking Views Zip Wiring in the St Lucian Rainforest

Marcus one of our Personal Travel Consultants has just returned from an action packed week in St Lucia.

He tells us about the highlight of his trip – zip wiring in the rainforest …

‘As ever it was a beautiful sunny day in St Lucia! I had chosen to participate in a zip wiring experience in the rainforest, something i have always wanted to do. Excited (and slightly nervous) we arrived for the briefing.. the team were great, explaining how long the experience would take, what to expect etc. Next – it was time to get kitted up! We were given hair nets and hard hats for safety, proceeding to a practice wire i watched my friends all have a go! Not quite sure what to expect – i breezed through my turn. Not a problem!!

We had to walk to the skyline which would allow us to travel to the top of the rainforest via cable car. If you love a good view, this is a MUST. It was absolutely amazing – i had never experienced anything quite like it. St Lucia is lush and mountainous with abundance of breathtaking views.

When up in the canopy we left the cable car for our short walk to the first zip wire. With ten in total the experience took a couple of hours. You get such a buzz zipping through the rainforest at such heights.

I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting a bit of action and adventure in St Lucia.
