Best For Beaches - Antigua
Antigua’s beaches are supreme. As a coral-based island, the sand is bright white and there is plenty of it, collecting in the curves of the islands’ zig-zag coastline.  What’s more, Antigua is said to have 365 beaches, one for every day of the year.  All of the beaches on Antigua are open to the public, though some of the harder to reach beaches are among the island’s most beautiful, making the journey well worth the effort!
 
Best For First-Timers To The Caribbean – Barbados
It is easy to get to, friendly, lively in places and an ideal place to start for a first-time visitor. The island also has excellent beaches and places to stay and the climate is top notch.  For its size, Barbados has more to offer than any other island in the region, but its relative development means that it may not fit everyone’s idea of a tropical escape.

Best For Sailing and Spice – Grenada
Tall, volcanic and immensely green, Grenada has some of the best sailing in the Caribbean.  Grenada is also immensely fertile and there are some exceptional public and private gardens on the island for those interested in Grenadian spices – cocoa, nutmeg and mace, allspice, cinnamon and ginger.  It’s no wonder why Grenada calls itself the ‘Isle of Spice’.

Best For Exploring and Adventure – Jamaica
One of the largest Caribbean islands, Jamaica is an excellent place to travel around - there are so many tourist attractions in Jamaica that there is always something to suit everyone.  This lively, energetic island offers the adventurous traveller endless things to do and see, not just on the beaches, but inland in the mountains and rivers.  Jamaica also has a lively cultural life, with excellent music and plenty of opportunities to mix it up with the locals! The Jamaicans themselves are funny, charming and eccentric, exasperating at times, but always engaging!
