CELEBRITY CHEFS JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION OF CARIBBEAN CUISINE

For avid foodies wanting to learn about, cook and eat fabulous food with celebrity TV chefs in the Caribbean, rex resorts annual ‘Taste of rex resorts’ food festival is taking place from 2 - 10 March 2010.  Celebrity and local chefs from Barbados, Grenada, Tobago, Antigua and St Lucia will showcase their top dishes and specialist cocktails through food demonstrations and tastings.  rex resorts will also organise trips to local markets and even a rum factory for those looking to discover the real flavour of the Caribbean.

In Antigua, BBC’s Gregg Wallace will be on hand to talk guests through all the weird and wonderful fresh produce grown on the island and how best to cook them, whilst in St Lucia, BBC2’s ‘Something For The Weekend’ chef Simon Rimmer will treat guests to food demonstrations, creating dishes such as a Salad Of Caribbean Lobster and divulging his best tips to bring Caribbean sunshine into the UK’s kitchens.
