Cool for cats in Koh Phi Phi

Rene’s blog post a couple of weeks ago got our taste buds tingling with his tales of all the best places to catch a bite to eat on the beautiful Thai island of Koh Phi Phi.

We had a comment about the Papaya restaurant, which Rene describes, telling us about the Persian cat there that apparently makes a beeline for the fridge on occasion to cool down from the tropical heat. Well, I didn’t believe it myself until Rene sent a photo in to prove it’s true. (And before you ask, it goes in there on its own accord and is let out whenever it likes.)

Well, all I can say is that if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen – and into the fridge!
