Dubai Desert Delights

Those who venture further than the bright lights of the city will realise that Dubai offers much, much more than glitz and glamour. The strange, barren landscape of the desert offers a plethora of adventures for when the shopping, spas and nightlife has become tiresome.  The desert can be explored in many quirky and crazy ways, from camel trekking to four-wheel drive safaris, and those who want to understand the desert eco system can even opt for a desert walk led by conservationists.   There are so many traditional Arabian pursuits on offer that to stay within the hotel grounds would be a waste of a stay!  Anyone for a barbeque in a Bedouin encampment?
