Etihad may be an airline that you have not come across. It’s an exciting Middle Eastern airline that wants to rival the expansion plans of nearby Emirates. Based in Abu Dhabi, they have just introduced some brand new 777’s and are now flying there from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester. There are good onward connections to Sri Lanka and Thailand amongst other destinations.
