This November, Barbados will host its first annual Food & Wine and Rum Festival, bringing together a number of celebrated chefs, including British chef Fergus Henderson, who is best known for his ethos of ‘Nose To Tail’ eating!  While this Michelin Star chef’s prolific use of the more unsavoury parts of an animal, notably offal, might put off some fussy foodies, there are plenty of alternative gastronomic delights in store to tempt the taste-buds of those with more sophisticated palates, with the likes of American chefs Tom Colicchio, Marcus Samuelsson, Ming Tsai and Tim Love, as well as wine experts and mixologists showcasing their work.

This four-day programme of events is taking place from  19-22 November 2010 and promises a truly Caribbean-style celebration of food and drink.  With a beautiful Barbadian backdrop to enjoy, where better to sink a few glasses of wine and indulge in some tantalisingly tasty cuisine?
