A Host of Stars at the Tobago Jazz Festival

The beautiful island of Tobago is known for having some of the most luxurious beaches in the Caribbean, extravagant carnival festivities and the constant sound of calypso music, and in April it will combine sunshine and palm trees with rhythmic beats as it will host one of the Caribbean’s biggest events of the year, the Tobago Jazz Festival.  Following on from the success of last year’s event, different venues on the island will attract leading jazz artists from around the world, creating the chance for visitors and locals to submerge a medley of jazz with Caribbean cuisine and arts.  The festival will last four days between the 22nd and 25th of April and has previously attracted world class stars such as Whitney Houston, Rod Stewart and Shakira to the shores of this idyllic Caribbean getaway.  This year the line up includes Grammy Award-winning artists Chaka Khan and Erykah Badu and guarantees to be one of the most up-beat and lively parties you will attend!  In between performances the festival’s top stars will be enjoying the pleasures of the exclusive five-star Coco Reef resort on the south-western coast within walking distance to two of the islands most popular beaches – Store Bay and Pigeon Point. The Tobago Jazz Festival promises to be a perfect opportunity to experience Tobago’s cultural history, party spirit and beautiful scenery!
