Jake’s Off Road Triathlon…Jamaica

Jake’s off-road triathlon was named among the ‘five best off-road races’.

Two triathlons in Jamaica, Jake’s Off-Road Triathlon and Rose Hall Triathlon, were listed among the “100 Best Triathlons on Earth” in the March issue of Triathlete Magazine. Jake’s Off-Road Triathlon was named among the “Five Best Off-Road Races,” and had the distinction of being named the only non-XTERRA event in that category, while the Rose Hall Triathlon was named in the category “Top 10 Best Excuses for a Vacation.” Featured in Triathlete Magazine’s first-of-its-kind feature, both of these triathlons received high accolades in two of the 13 race categories that represent the full gamut of triathlons — from off-road and women only to greenest and family friendly. The magazine’s editors selected the top 100 events that stand out from the rest and cover more than just the basics.

This year’s staging of the Jake’s off-road triathlon will take place in Treasure Beach, located on Jamaica’s South Coast, on Saturday, April 24th. International entrants for Jake’s off-road triathlon can register at www.active.com
