Loving life at Grenada’s LaSource

The LaSource hotel in Grenada has recently had some extensive renovation and on my recent visit I found it to be better than ever, with a new beachside restaurant and bar, new airy terrace and spa rooms, and lovely new furnishings.

My husband and I spent a week at La Source this July. We absolutely love Grenada and always stay at LaSource for the treatments and the wide variety of activities. We both work long hours in stressful jobs, and LaSource is our favourite place to unwind. As well as complimentary daily, out-of-this-world spa treatments, the hotel provides a range of holistic activities, including Yoga, T’ai Chi, Meditation and Stress Management (for when the book and beach just isn’t enough!)

While I spent the week pampering myself with seaweed wraps, salt loofah scrubs and facials, my husband chose to unwind in a more energetic fashion, snorkelling from the resort beach, waterskiing and windsurfing, hiking and cycling.

Evenings were spent enjoying the fine dining at the three restaurants at the resort. Our favourite place to eat is the Garden Restaurant, which was as good as ever, before retiring to the piano bar which stays open until the last guest retires. We never made it to the end of the night however – not with a bed as comfortable as ours!
