We all know just how important cricket is in England and the Caribbean. England will arrive in St. Kitts on January 21st for the full Digicel Series 2009 that involves four Test Matches, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and one 20/20 International. The first full Test itself opens at Sabina Park, Jamaica, on February 4th. The Second Test takes place at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, Antigua, February 13th -17th, while the Kensington Oval in Barbados is the venue for the Third Test from February 26th to March 2nd. The Fourth and final Test at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad runs March 6th to 10th.
The First and Second One Day Internationals take place at Providence in Guyana, on March 20th and Sunday March 22nd respectively. The Third and Fourth One Day Internationals are being held at Kensington Oval, Barbados, March 27th and Sunday, March 29th, while the fifth ODI (a Day/Night match) will be played at the Beausejour Cricket Stadium, St. Lucia on April 3rd.
