Luxury resort collection Per AQUM maintains it’s position at the cutting edge of style and design with its sponsorship of the Creative Marketing Award at Graduate Fashion Week 2009.

The award was presented to the winner, Christina Duggan of Northumbria University, by Per AQUM’S MD Mark Carson during last night’s gala award show. The show attended by Claudia Schiffer, Mary McCartney, Matthew Williamson and Amber Le Bon was a star studded event.

The criteria for the award was to create a marketing plan showing the value of innovation with a creative approach incorporating the development of an innovative output/product and the promotion of such. Christina Duggan delighted the judges with her marketing concept for luxury men’s underwear line, Package. ‘Putting the sex, fashion and rock ‘n’ roll into men’s underwear’. Package aims to change attitudes towards men’s underwear from necessity to desire, heralding a potential male equivalent to women’s brands such as Agent Provocateur.

Renowned for captivating the imagination of the media and public alike, Per AQUM has created bold, stylish spaces in the shape of Huvafen Fushi, in the Maldives, Desert Palm in Dubai and The Fortress in Sri Lanka.

Showcasing the best in graduate fashion design talent from universities across the UK to a panel of experts and mentors, Graduate Fashion Week has helped launch the careers in fashion superstars including Stella McCartney, Julian McDonald, Hussein Chalavan and Christopher Bailey.
