Sporting Icons Pay A Visit To Barbados This Summer

With Wayne Rooney escaping to Barbados following the media and fans scathing onslaught over his poor performance this World Cup, he might want to take some time going back to basics and improving his ball skills at the 2010 Barbados Sports Camp – in fact he might want to invite the whole England team along! 

Barbados is renowned for its passion of sport and this year the camp have enlisted the coaching expertise of cricket and football legends Gladstone Small, Graham Hick and Mark Bright to pass their knowledge on to the island’s youngsters (as well as those visiting on holiday), in an attempt to find the sporting stars of the future.  Looking to build on the success of the past two years, the camp’s organisers are offering a unique opportunity to enjoy coaching in cricket (the national sport of Barbados), football and netball within the top-notch training facilities of the University of the West Indies. 

The perfect way for children to have an unforgettable holiday, the idyllic island will be hosting the camp between 3-27 August – and with the guaranteed Barbados sunshine, play definitely won’t be suspended by rain this summer!
