Wind Surf, a deluxe motor sailing yacht that carries just 312 passengers, combines the romance of billowing sails with sleek design and service. Renowned for pampering without pretence and the ability to visit hidden harbours and secluded coves around the world, the upscale Wind Surf provides an informal atmosphere with no dress code or fixed meal times in the onboard restaurants. And with two different Caribbean itineraries on offer, that take you either through the Grenadines or north to St Martin, you will be spoilt for choice.

Details

Day 1

Sunday London Barbados
Fly to Barbados and transfer to your ship Windsurf and set sail for the Grenadines late that evening

Day 2

Monday Bequia Grenadines
Life in Bequia revolves around the sea. Walk through the pretty town of Port Elizabeth, set on one of the loveliest and best-sheltered harbors in the Caribbean, and you’ll see fish nets drying in the sun. Boats are built on the beach in the shade of palm trees, and many yachtsmen have come here to have a fine schooner built by hand.

Day 3

Tuesday Roseau Dominica
This is an island with a wonderful rainforest. Stately mountains form a velvet-green backdrop to this picturesque town where the streets are lined with old stone-and-wood buildings.

Day 4

Wednesday St Lucia
Dock at Pigeon Island. The twin towers of the Pitons, two volcanic peaks rising to more than 2,400 feet, mark St. Lucia, an island of lush green valleys, acres of banana plantations, and bubbling sulfur springs. 24 miles of vibrant reef make St. Lucia a haven for divers and snorkelers. Pigeon Island National Park, a 40-acre island connected to the mainland by a causeway, was once a pirates’ hideaway. Today, impressive ruins of old English forts, archaeological relics of Arawak Indians, and splendid beaches make this a fascinating place to explore.

Day 5

Thursday Kingstown St Vincent
Life in Kingstown, St. Vincent is easy going and it is the ideal place to unwind and relax and soak up the sun. The food is fresh and good, the sea is warm and the hospitality is generous. You can watch or join in an impromptu game of cricket on the beach, head off to explore delightful secluded coves, go walking, cycling or snorkeling, take a trip to some of the surrounding islands, or just wander around this delightful, friendly island discovering its fascinating charm, customs and traditions.

Day 6

Friday St Georges Grenada
A lively blend of French and English cultures, St. George’s has steep hills to climb, spectacular views to photograph and a rum distillery to tour.

Day 7

Saturday Tobago
Visit Scarborough or take a trip to the rainforest or to the island of Little Tobago great for diving snorkeling or birdwatching

Day 8

Sunday Barbados
Arrive back in Barbados in the early morning. Fly home in the afternoon or stay a few days extra in Barbados.
