Weather
As with many other Caribbean Islands, the Caymans generally enjoy very warm weather and plenty of sunshine all year round. Cool northeast trade winds add a blessed break from the hot, humid summer temperatures. Rainfall is intermittent but is at its highest from May-June and September-October. Occasional tropical storms visit the islands during winter months and during the hurricane season from June through November. Visitors are encouraged not to be dissuaded by potential hurricanes as many safety plans are set in place should a storm be predicted – evacuation plans have worked very well in the past.
