Day 1

Take an overnight scheduled flight from London to Mauritius.

Day 2

Port Louis - Explore the capital of Mauritius famous for it’s busines district, lively street markets, colonial architecture, mosques and cathedral. The Central Market is very popular due to its constant bustling activity and variety of wares, ranging from fruit and vegetables to handicrafts, souvenirs and Ayurvedic medicines from India.

Day 3

Port Louis - The second day is spent in Port Louis, why not book a trip and venture around the island. Alternatively relax on the beach!

Mahe (Seychelles) - The Seychelles consists of approx 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, 1,600km from the East African Coast. Victoria is the capital of Mahe. It is a typical Creole town with a blend of races and cultures, and is home to a charachteristic colourful markets selling a variety of fish, vegetables and spices, these feature prominently in local cuisine. There is a natural history museum, botanical gardens and orchid garden.

Day 6

Mahe (Seychelles). Spend a second day in the Seychelles, why not visit one of the pure white sandy beaches with peculiar granite borders. Alternatively in the South the interior is strikingly mountainous with the highest peak (Morne Seychellois) rising to 903 metres.

Day 7

Spend a third day in the Seychelles. Take some time and discover one of the best island destinations in the Indian Ocean for sampling Creole cuisine, whose basic ingredients are fish and rice. Its dishes also make highly imaginative use of fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices.

Nosy Be (Madagascar) A charming tropical island, covered with palm trees and bougainvillea this is Madagascars leading tourist destination. The Musee de Nosy Be is good to visit displaying a selection of exhibits that belonged to the local Sakalava and Antankarana tribes. The daily market in the capital is fun with great opportunites to buy spices at reasonable prices. The most famous beaches are located ten kilometres west of the capital.

Day 10

Diego Suarez (Madagascar) Visit one of the most beautiful and largest bays of the world! For those that enjoy walking or trekking there are opportunities for all here. Why not visit the sugar loaf, very similar to Rio. Here you will experience great views out to the sea.

Toamasina, commonly known as Tamatave, is the main city on Madagascar’s eastern coast. The origins of the Malagasy name are controversial. Some say that it is derived from the Portuguese name São Tomas, while others trace it to King Radama I and his first journey made to see the sea in 1817. It is said that, on bending down to taste the water, the sovereign exclaimed Toa masina! ("It’s salty!").Founded as a pirate settlement,

St Denis (Reunion) Officially an overseas department of France, the island boasts stunning exotic scenery, an active volcano and semi-tropical climate. Bearing the traces of Indian, African and even chinese cultures. Avenue de la Victoire is the main street and, along with the Rue de Paris, home to the most sumptuous buildings of the capital, almost all of which are adorned with painstakingly decorated colonnades and lambrequins, the carved wooden festoons embellishing doors and windows. The shopping area is loacted around the partially pedestrianised Rue Marechal Leclerc. The city is also home to botanical gardens, and history museum. The local Hindu temple and Grand mosque is the centre of religious life for the local muslim population is great to visit.
