Flight time from London to Krabi International Airport is approximately 13 hours. Alternatively you can fly via Bangkok (a 12 hour flight) and take a short haul (1.5 hour) flight to Krabi from here.

A visa is not required for stays of up to 30 days. Six months valid passport is required and you must have a return or onward ticket unless a tourist visa is obtained prior to arrival. Weather

Krabi has primarily two seasons, hot and “rainy”. May to December is considered the rainy season although rain does not fall constantly; it falls mainly in the evenings and is intermittent. The days are generally a mix of sun and cloud. This season may be ideal for those who are less fond of extreme heat, as temperatures tend to be cooler, though still very pleasant. The hot season runs from January to April.

Thai is the official language though English may also be spoken in tourist areas.
