Nha Trang Bay is Vietnam’s primary beach resort town: a beautiful five mile stretch of white sandy beaches dotted with islands, making for excellent boat trips. Situated in the province of Khanh Hoa in south central Vietnam, this beach resort and coastal offers excellent snorkelling and diving. Life in this town is centred on the beach but equally its nightlife is exciting and the people friendly and welcoming. Football is also popular here and you may get a chance to participate in one of many games. If you tire of the beaches, stroll into this lovely coastal town and enjoy the night market for local food and souvenirs.
Nha Trang, the provincial capital, has some interesting sights: a towering white Buddha monument can be seen from many points in the city and can be reached by climbing a very steep set of stairs. Across the Nha Trang River is the Po Nagar Cham site, home to ancient towers atop a hill with breathtaking views of the city and river. The nearby area, Hon Chong is famous for its seafood. When tired of the beach, you can visit the beautiful surrounding countryside by organised tour or do as the locals do and explore by bicycle. Nha Trang is also known for great local markets and a lively nightlife.
