Tour Information

An extensive and varied tour of Borneo taking in Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Springs, some jungle trekking in Sukau, an evening river cruise, Gomantong Caves as well as an abundance of exotic wildlife up close and personal.

DAY 1

Pick up from airport of chosen hotel:-

Day 1: Kota Kinabalu – Kinabalu Park (Lunch, dinner)
This sojourn into the heart of Sabah begins with a mountainous drive to Kinabalu Park, where a treat
awaits nature enthusiasts with a guided jungle trek, visit to the mountain garden and slide show at the
Park. Spend the night at the Park.

Day 2: Kinabalu Park – Poring Hot Springs – Sukau (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Depart for Sandakan, one of Sabah’s oldest settlements, on the East Coast of Borneo. En route,
enjoy a stopover at Poring Hot Springs for a dip in its hot sulphur baths and the thrill of a lifetime, the
41m canopy walk. Arrive at Sukau in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at a riverine lodge.

Day 3: Sukau (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Rise early for a cruise to the Ox-bow Lake and venture upon a short jungle trek to appreciate
Borneo’s fascinating wildlife. Take an evening cruise along the Kinabatangan river to view the playful
Proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. Spent one more night with Mother Nature at the riverine lodge.

Day 4: Sukau – Gomantong – Sandakan (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Return to Sandakan town, en route at Gomantong Caves to glimpse amazing swiftlets and bats.
Gomantong is renowned for its birds’ nests harvest. Enjoy lunch before a tour of the historic town and
an overnight stay at Sandakan.

Day 5: Sandakan – Turtle Island (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Swim up to nature, in this next adventure, on arrival at Selingan Island or as it is more popularly
known, Turtle Island. Watch huge turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and help rangers release dayold
hatchlings into the sea. Overnight at island.

Day 6: Turtle Island – Sandakan – Airport (Breakfast. lunch))
Return to Sandakan once more and proceed to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for the
morning feeding and a trek into pristine, protected jungles. Lunch prior to return flight to Kota Kinabalu
or beyond.
