Flight Information

British Airways operate an indirect flight from Gatwick via Antigua to Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, St. Kitts on Tuesday and Saturday, flight time is approx 10hrs. For Nevis hotels, it is possible to either fly to St Kitts on the British Airways twice weekly indirect service and travel on to Nevis by boat, or take the Virgin Atlantic or British Airways direct flight to Antigua on Friday or Saturday and then take a short flight from Antigua to Nevis.

Regional flights connecting with Virgin Atlantic flights from Gatwick are available with Flybe from Guernsey, Jersey, Belfast City Airport, Isle of Wight, Inverness, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Newquay. Regional flights connecting with British Airways flights are available from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Jersey, Manchester and Newcastle. Due to connections times it may be necessary to overnight at Gatwick when booking regional flights.

Visa Requirements

A visa is currently not required for British or Irish passport holders for stays of up to 30 days. A six month valid passport is required as is an outward or return ticket and proof of sufficient funds during your stay. All travellers should check full entry requirements prior to travel by visiting the FCO website or by contacting the relevant embassy.

Weather

The weather here tends to be pleasant, quite sunny and warm year round with intermittent rainfall particularly between July and November.

Language

English is the official language while many also speak Creole.

Currency

The Eastern Caribbean Dollar ($EC) is the local currency, but US dollar is also used widely.
