Voted fourth in ‘The Top 10 Hotels in the World’ in 1998, Governors’ Camp is located right in the heart of the prime game viewing area of the world famous Maasai Mara National Park and is the perfect spot for a safari wedding. Wedding couple must spend at least 2 working days in Nairobi before the wedding to complete the wedding administration.

Day 1
You will need to spend 2 nights in Nairobi as you will need to complete your wedding formalities and paperwork. Following this, you will fly from Wilson Airport straight into Maasai Mara (50 minutes). On arrival you will be transferred to Governors Camp. Evening game drive for a first view of the wildlife species for which the Mara is famous

Day 2
A full day in the Mara with morning game drive followed by lunch at your safari camp and then evening game drive

Day 3
Wedding day plus half day in Maasai Mara with a picnic lunch. Driving in our custom built 4x4 vehicles, on the lookout for the big cats which the Mara is famous for. Sundowner & night game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
An early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then transfer to the airstrip for your Air Kenya flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi

Please remember that you will be travelling to the Mara via light aircraft with limited luggage allowance. Please take this into consideration when packing your wedding outfits.
