Important Notes - Please Read
- Jamaica - For a wedding in Jamaica, all documents have to certified. A certified document is a photocopy of the relevant document which has been stamped and signed by a solicitor as being a true copy of the original. The signature should be in blue or red ink.
- Dominican Republic - If the bride is divorced 10 months must have passed since the Decree Absolute was granted. Single status affadavit must have been stamped, signed and dated by a solicitor no more than 3 months before the return date.
- Mexico - If you have been divorced you need to wait a year before applying for a marriage license. You will need a Tourist Card which the airline will provide you with. A blood test is also required and it is recommended that these tests be done in Mexico.

Important Notes - Please Read
- Thailand - For weddings in Thailand a short stay in Bangkok prior to the wedding is required to complete the formalities. For widows or divorcees you will not be permitted to remarry within 310 days after the previous marriage has expired.
- South Africa - A wedding in South Africa needs to be performed in a building with open doors.
- Bali - The groom must be at least 23 and the bride 21.
