Day 1
Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will meet your representation and transfer to your hotel. If you have time, we recommend joining a walking tour that displays the history of this vibrant city.

Day 2
Delhi
Today you’ll embark on a full day tour of Old and New Delhi, including marvelling at the 17th century Jama Masjid and enjoying a rickshaw ride through the narrow, vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk. A photo stop at the Red Fort and a visit to Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated finishes the Old Delhi section of this tour.
Next up is New Delhi, where you’ll drive past the Presidential Palace, the India Gate – a memorial in honour of Indian soldiers killed during the Afghan war, and secretarial buildings. End the tour with a visit to Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb.
The evening is free for you to enjoy at your own pace.

Day 3
Delhi – Agra
You’ll be transferred in a private car to Delhi railway station, where you will board the train to Agra – a city on the banks of Yamuna that was transformed from a small village by two Mughal monarchs, Akbar and his grandson Shah Jehan.
Upon arrival in Agra, you’ll meet your representation and a local guide for a fascinating tour of the Agra Fort. After this visit, you can check into your hotel.
In the afternoon you’ll visit Mehtab Bagh for phenomenal views of the iconic Taj Mahal. This is one of the best places to get an amazing photo of the palace.
If you want to swap your trip to the monuments with a walking tour, there is the option of the Kachhpura Walk. A community-based initiative, you’ll be shown around a village by a youth from the local community, with the walk ending with a view of the Taj from a high roof top. The money collected from this walk goes to funding welfare works such as upgrading schools and building toilets. There’s also the option of a visit to Sheroes Hang Out Café, a wonderful café managed by acid attack survivors that not only serves warming food, but displays true feminism too.

Day 4
Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Wake early for a sunrise visit of the Taj Mahal – the palace looks incredible under the early morning light. Afterwards, you’ll check out of your hotel and embark on a journey to Jaipur.
Along the way, you’ll have a short visit to Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted red sandstone city that was once the capital and palace of the Great Mughal Emperor, Akbar.
Later on, you’ll arrive in Jaipur, a Rajasthan province that is renowned for its arts and crafts. The evening is free for you to explore at your leisure.
If you’re in need of something to do in the evening, we’d recommend the Bazaar, Cuisine & Crafts of Old Jaipur walk, which allows you to mingle with locals as you marvel at some of the city’s popular street food vendors and watch local artisans working in their workshops. This is a two and a half-hour walk.

Day 5
Jaipur
After an early breakfast, you’ll enjoy a visit to Amber Fort to discover the amazing complex of courtyards and halls. You’ll get up the hill via a jeep, stopping to see the Palace of Winds – a beautiful palace with intricate pink sandstone carvings.
In the afternoon you’ll visit the City Palace, featuring an elaborate complex of astonishing gardens, courtyards and decorative doorways. Next up is Jaipur’s Jantar Mantar, a famous observatory created by Sawai Jai Singh, the Hindu Rajput ruler of Amber who was a keen astronomist.
You’ll love the cooking demonstration available in the evening – it takes place in the house of an Indian family, and is followed by a delicious meal.

Day 6
Jaipur – Jodhpur
After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive to Jodhpur. Enjoy a stop at Pushkar Palace for lunch.
Upon arrival in the city, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. There’s much to see in this walled city, including the impressive Mehrangarh Fort.

Day 7
Jodhpur
Today you will visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, adorned with delicate palaces and interesting museums featuring treasures of the royal family. You’ll also visit Jaswant Thanda, a marble memorial for the popular ruler Jaswant Singh II (1878-95) who helped the economy in many ways. This spot also presents on of the best places to photograph the fort. The afternoon will be spent visiting the museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace.
There are two optional activities too. The first is a visit to Bishnoi Village, a tribal village home to the Bishnois, who are known for their love of nature. This is an eco-friendly section of Hindu religion. The second is a chance to learn about the ancestral art of tie and dye with a local family. Known as Bandhani, this is an ancient art form.

Day 8
Jodhpur – Udaipur
The morning is free for you to relax, ready for a journey to Udaipur in the afternoon. Known as the most romantic city in Rajasthan, Udaipur is characterised by its lush valleys and the sparkling waters of Lake Pichola. During your journey, you’ll stop by Ranakpur Temple for an audio tour.

Day 9
Udaipur
Day nine will be spent enjoying a fascinating sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Sights include the City Palace, a complex of 11 palaces that overlook the beautiful Lake Pichola – there’s a tour of a private collection of precious and rare crystals too. You’ll also explore Jagdish Temple – dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and Sahelion-ki-bari – a beautiful garden highlighting the unique lifestyle of the royal ladies who used to live in the palaces.
There are two optional excursions too. These include a bicycle tour of Udaipur, giving you the opportunity to discover the bustling city lifestyle and discover talented craftsmen, and a trip to visit the homes of traditional artisans to learn about an array of ancient art forms.

Day 10
Udaipur – Mumbai
The morning is free for you to enjoy as you wish. In the afternoon you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Known as the most influential city in India, Mumbai is a kaleidoscope of colours, smells and tastes.

Mumbai
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a fabulous excursion to see the Elephanta Caves. Travel over to the island of Elephant via ferry, and spend time exploring the rock-cut cave temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva. There are many sculptures to discover here, including the Trimurti which represents the three-headed Shiva.
The afternoon will be spent enjoying a city tour, which includes great sights including Mani Bhawan – Gandhi’s Bombay home, the colonial High Court, the Tower of Silence and the stunning Jain temple.
The evening is free for you to enjoy at your own pace.
There is the option to start your day in a unique way. Mumbai by Dawn is a tour that starts at 5.15am, giving you the opportunity to see Mumbai wake up, including watching as newspaper vendors sort their newspapers with seven different languages, enjoying a fish auction, or wandering through flower and food markets.

Mumbai
Today marks the end of your tour. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your ongoing flight.
