Overview

Vilamendhoo Island Resort is a beautiful resort surrounded by a lagoon, an excellent house reef and lovely long stretches of white sandy beaches. Located on South Ari Atoll, there are fabulous dive sites close by for the keen scuba divers and for the beach lovers this really is a paradise found.

With such a beautiful Maldivian location, it'll come as no surprise that the rooms and villas here adopt a laidback yet luxury island style. Vibrant orange and blue accents create a cool beachside vibe, whilst the views of either the tropical gardens or the sugary sand beach will give you that desirable castaway feeling.

Based on the beautiful island of Vilamendhoo, the resort is found in the south of the Ari Atoll.

  • Scenic transfer by seaplane directly to the resort takes 30 mins
  • Domestic flight from to Velana International Airport to Maamingili Airport, including speedboat transfer to the resort takes approx. 60 minutes

  • Garden Rooms – 55sqm rooms located in the garden, with the same amenities as the Beach Villas. They are in 3 blocks of 4 or 5 rooms, and have a privacy screen between each room.
  • Adjoining Beach Villas - 55sqm villas adjoined to each other, without interleading doors. They offer a lovely sitting area and views of the lagoon.
  • Standalone Beach Villas – 55sqm villas filled with tropical plants and a spacious bathroom and sitting area, plus views of the lagoon.
  • Jacuzzi Beach Villas – 65sqm villas with a wooden, furnished sundeck, a Jacuzzi for two, and gorgeous views of the lagoon. Located in the adult-only section.
  • Jacuzzi Water Villas – 85sqm villas over the water in the lagoon and located in the adult-only section, featuring a private furnished sundeck with steps into the sea, a Jacuzzi for two under the stars and incredible views.

  • Funama Restaurant - the buffet-style restaurant is exclusively for guests staying in the Garden Rooms and Beach Villas and serves a wide range of quality international cuisine
  • Ahima Restaurant - this buffet-style restaurant is exclusively for guests staying in the Jacuzzi Beach and Jacuzzi Water Villas and serves a wide range of quality international cuisine
  • Asian Wok Restaurant - over-water restaurant specialising in Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki*
  • Hot Rock Restaurant - adults-only restaurant featuring seafood, steak, chicken or exotic game cooked at your table on hot rocks*
  • Bonthi Bar - with over-water deck for evening celebrations, offering satellite TV coverage of international sporting events and a disco night
  • Boashi Bar - offers sultry drinks beside the pool
  • Asain Wok Bar - offers great alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a relaxing atmosphere
  • Sunset Bar - offers the best sundowners, the deck overlooking the infinity pool and ocean, some of the best sunset views on the island
