Day 1

Arrive in Sri Lanka

On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport by a representative and transferred to your hotel in either Habarana/Sigiriya, for dinner or an overnight stay (transfer time 4 hours).

Day 2

Sigiriya Rock Fortress

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll enjoy a visit to the famous UNESCO Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as Lion Rock. Be sure to check out the Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, Summerhouses, Boulder Gardens and the Caves, all within the area. You’ll then continue to the fantastic statues and architecture of Polonnaruwa, before heading back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Kandy & Dambulla Cave

Travel to Kandy (2-3 hours), visiting the Dambulla Cave Temple en-route. The temple is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka and a sight not to be missed. In the evening, enjoy a cultural show featuring various traditional dances before heading back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Kandy tour

Enjoy a city tour of Kandy, through Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake, Embekke and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Afterwards, there is an optional visit to Kandy British Garrison Cemetery and Royal Botanical Gardens – a stunning array of more than 5000 species of tropical plants and trees. Then head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 5

Nuwara-Eliya

After breakfast, head to Nuwara-Eliya (approx. 4-5hrs) and embark on a half-day city tour. Along the way, you will visit a traditional tea factory and the gorgeous Ramboda Falls. Nuwara-Eliya is better known as ‘Little England’ by the locals; the charming country cottages and scenic parks make you really feel like you’ve stepped back in time! Then back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 - 13

Cinnamon Bey Beruwala Resort

After your breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred on to Cinnamon Bey Beruwala on the island’s West Coast for a 7 night beach escape (approx. 5 hrs journey)

Day 14

Enjoy your last few hours in resort before transferring back to the airport for your flight home (approx. 2 hrs journey)
