Overview

Curtain Bluff is a world class resort set on the southern tip of Antigua, flanked by two beaches, this heavenly hideaway is in a beautiful and tranquil location for a sublime wedding and luxurious honeymoon. Overlooking peaceful scenery of the rolling hilltops, luscious tropical flora, azure crystalline sea and sugary white sands, the resort holds amazing vistas from every angle.

To ensure you get all the attention you deserve for your special day, the hotel never schedules more than one wedding a day. The ceremony will take place at sunset, either upon a beautiful patio with the shimmering sea on both sides, or on one of the two sublime beaches with utterly stunning vistas. With our Classic Wedding package, you’ll both enjoy a wedding cake, bouquet and boutonniere, tropical flower decoration, a cocktail party following the ceremony, and a reception dinner in one of the two restaurants. You’ll also be assisted by a wedding coordinator, who will help to plan out the wedding of your dreams.

We love the VIP treatment here, it gives you the time to fully unwind, indulge in wonderful facilities and delight in some of the island’s most stunning views. Rooms and suites are either nestled on the beachfront or are set overlooking the azure, glistening sea; all rooms are appointed with lots of private living space, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, grand marble bathrooms with luxury spa facilities and plush king-size beds in the bedroom. If you’re looking to indulge in unparalleled luxury on your honeymoon, we recommend the Hulford Collection Suites; richly-appointed with colonial décor, breath-taking vistas, an incredible amount of living space and a private infinity-edge plunge pool are just a few of the luxuries you’ll be treated to.

Nestled into a verdant hillside, the stunning architecture evokes a sense of pure luxury, which transitions into the world-class service and elegant interiors. Both beaches are utterly wonderful, one features a chilled ambience with fantastic water sports, whilst the other is a peaceful oasis where you can simply listen to the rolling ocean waves as you relax in your hammock. Activities here are varied and make the most of the blissful surroundings, including a rejuvenating spa, swimming pool, infinity-edge hot tub, and a selection of exercise classes. The most celebrated part of this beachside getaway is the incredible food. Admired by culinary magazines around the world, the food here is renowned for being truly divine.

More Information

To ensure you get all the attention you deserve, we never schedule more than one wedding a day. The ceremonies take place at sunset, either on the patio of the Bluff House (with the sea on both sides) or on the Bay Beach down by the Sea Grape restaurant. Add it all up and the price is much more affordable than a comparable wedding at home. Curtain Bluff has become one of the leading hotels in the Caribbean today. Elegantly appointed beachfront guestrooms and lavish suites are cooled on the bluff by gentle ocean breezes.

All legal documents must be in English or legally translated into English. The Wedding ceremony
In most destinations, your wedding ceremony will be conducted Monday to Friday (excluding local holidays). In some destinations, local festivals and holidays will determine available wedding dates. Generally, your wedding will take place in the grounds of the hotel unless otherwise specified. Many hotels offer wedding gazebos for extra privacy. Some hotels may offer more than one wedding per day with the first wedding taking place at around 10am and the last wedding about 4pm. The majority of weddings are conducted by a marriage officer whose title varies depending on the resort. Where it is possible to be married by a minister, the ceremony will be non-denominational unless otherwise stated and will be a civil wedding.

The information given above only apply to couples:

  • who are born in the UK
  • with a valid 10 year UK/Irish passport, valid for at least six months beyond the proposed stay.

If couples do not fulfil these requirements they must advise us. Couples should be referred to the embassy of the country of origin and the country where they wish to marry as they may require extra documentation to satisfy their own embassy requirements. Tropical Sky cannot advise on this and couples must investigate this on their own.

As Tropical Sky have no jurisdiction over hotels/resorts/venues/legal requirements and their charges, we cannot be responsible for any increases or changes to these wedding arrangements. We will, however, endeavour to advise you of changes as soon as we are made aware of them.
