Day 1

Barcelona, Spain

Arrive in sunny Barcelona! Transfer independently to your hotel as you unwind after your travels.

Day 2

Barcelona, Spain

Set sail from Spain’s capital in the late afternoon, giving you plenty of time if you arrived the day before to see all the magnificent Gothic architecture, the famous Las Ramblas or taking in the magnitude of Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia.

Day 3

Palma, Majorca

One of Spain’s most popular islands - a fabulous mix of bustling life, vibrant art scene and delicious cuisine. Stroll the cobblestone paths to find treasures in shops or visit the Gothic cathedral. Head to the east of the island to the Cuevas del Drach with its stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 4

Provence, France

This morning we’re cruising to Marseille – the oldest city in France. Visit the fish market and stroll along the promenades and 18th-century warehouses. Grab a cafe au lait and a melon tarte from one of the cafes on the ground floor. Then, cruise to Provence and check out the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde.

Day 5

Florence/ Pisa (La Spezia), Italy

The northern Italian port city of La Spezia, on the border of Liguria and Tuscany and a beautiful stop in the Tuscan region to see Florence and Pisa. See the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa and take *that* photo before discovering the charm of Florence and perfect opportunity to take a walking tour of the historic streets. Visit the Accademia Gallery home of Michelangelo‘s David.

Day 6

Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy

Dock at Civitavecchia, Italy and visit the ancient city of Rome about an hour’s journey away. Gaze upon the imposing colosseum and walk the ruins of the Roman Forum. A must see is St Peter’s Square and Basilica in Vatican City or grab a gelato and stroll through Rome visiting iconic places such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and Pantheon.

Day 7

Naples/ Capri – Italy

Cruise to the gorgeous Amalfi Coast, where you will find the historic city of Naples. Tour the cathedrals, Naples’ gran piazzas and the old center with its century’s old castles. A must do whilst you’re here is trying the famous Naples pizza, a chewy base and delectable toppings – what’s not to love? Make the most of your stay here by visiting Pompeii, a city preserved by the eruption from Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Day 8

Day at Sea

Enjoy today at your leisure and soak up the Mediterranean sun on the deck or explore the many activities onboard.

Day 9

Barcelona

Arrive back in Barcelona port and head home after a wonderful week discovering the Mediterranean.
