Days 1-5

Fly overnight to arrive in Bali where you will be met and transferred to the The Laguna Resort & Spa hotel, nestled among the majestic Nusa Dua peninsula on Bali’s most beautiful beach, a luxurious resort that evokes a wonderful sense of tranquility and seclusion. Covered in bright tropical flora, soaring palm trees and lush lagoons, the resort will feel like your own little paradise as you relax by the seven gorgeous lagoons and pools, enjoy a few cool water sports, and treat yourself to a soothing therapy at the lagoon spa.

Days 6-8

Gili Meno

On day 8 after an early breakfast, check out and be collected for your speedboat transfer (approximately 2.5 hours) over to the beautiful Gili Meno where you will check into the Mahamaya Boutique Resort for 3 nights. Enjoy the resorts freshwater pools, on-site spa and enviable private beach location facing the sunsets on the west coast. Bicycles are complimentary to guests for easy exploration of the small island, where the only other traffic is a horse cart. Snorkelling with the reef fish and turtles is a Gili islands must-do and here you can enjoy complimentary kayak and snorkel rental to paddle out to the best spots which you will find just off shore from MAHAMAYA.

Finish off the day with a happy hour cocktail at the bar and dine at the beachfront restaurant where fresh Asian fusion food is served up for lunch and dinner.

Days 9-13

Transfer by boat to Teluk Kodek where you will be met and transferred the 45 minute journey to the Hotel Tugu Lombok on the North coast of Lombok for 5 nights. The much loved Hotel Tugu Lombok blends expert service, bohemian chic and carefully curated traditional heritage in a truly unique way; and the result is incurably romantic. Feel the connection with the magic and spirit of Indonesia's past while indulging in some really special moments during your stay on Lombok.

The hotel sits on private white sandy shoreline with two beach-front pools so taking plenty of time to kick back and recharge is inevitable; when you want to explore the first stop should be the not-to-be-missed spa within the remains of an ancient Hindu temple. All activities are carefully thought out and connect the guest to the cultural and natural heritage of Indonesia; learn about Lombok cuisine, cultivate a pearl, trek to a waterfall, learn how to make a medicinal herbal remedy, and release a turtle hatchling safely to the sea.

Day 14

Fly home

Check out after lunch and transfer by road to Lombok airport (approximately 90 minutes) for your overnight flight home.

These hotels are based on our suggestions, if you wish to stay in another hotel or extend the number of nights we can tailor it to your needs.

Our suggested hotels for this itinerary are...

The Laguna Resort & Spa

Nestled among the majestic Nusa Dua peninsula on Bali’s most beautiful beach, The Laguna Resort & Spa is a spectacular resort shrouded in beautiful flora and offering a relaxing, tranquil ambience. With lagoon-style pools, first-class service and delicious restaurants, this is a wonderful paradise.

MAHAMAYA Boutique Resort, Gili Meno

Get away from it all with a tropical island escape on the island of Gili Meno; snorkel with turtles, watch the sunset from the beach bar and swim in a freshwater pool at this little gem of a hotel.

Hotel Tugu Lombok

Immerse yourself in the natural and cultural beauty of Lombok at the fantastically eclectic Hotel Tugu Lombok, where you will unwind on the white shores of Sire beach with a backdrop of aqua marine seas, the nearby Gili islands and Mount Rinjani.

  • Please note that the Gili Islands are refreshingly vehicle-free. Motorised traffic is banned by local order, and only the occasional cyclist is likely to nip past. The islands may be small enough to walk around, but it’s worth taking a ride in a cidomo, a mode of transport that’s original to here and nearby Lombok.

Nyepi Day

On the 25th March 2020 it is Nyepi Day, an important Hindu celebration marking the Balinese New Year.  Meaning “Day of Silence” this is a day of reflection and any activity that may prevent that is prohibited. The day is marked with a public holiday and restrictions are imposed on any kind of noise, travel, entertainment or work. Although tourists are free to do as they wish within hotels, nobody is allowed to leave the hotel premises between the hours of 6am and 6am the following day. Hotels will remain operational but with limited staff and Bali airport will remain closed.
