Located on a beautiful white sand beach near the charming village of Bel Ombre, this gorgeous resort showcases the natural beauty of Mauritius' south coast.

  • The resort is approximately a 45-minute drive (30km) from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and 75-minute drive (57km) from the capital city - Port Louis

The following room types are available

  • Tamassa Rooms – stylish and comfortable rooms with basic facilities, overlooking of the tropical gardens. Accommodates 2 adults plus 1 teen, child or baby.
  • Superior Rooms - furnished with Standard Room amenities, plus iPod dock and coffee plunger andith an arcitectual feeling of space.  Accommodates 3 adults or 2 adults plus 1 teen, child or baby.
  • Superior Ocean Rooms - these rooms have a direct view of the lagoon.
  • Beach Rooms – all Superior Room facilities with a direct beach front access and views of the Ocean. Accommodates 3 adults or 2 adults plus 1 teen, child or baby.
  • Tamassa Family Rooms – generously sized rooms that are ideal for families with an additional room with bunk beds for children. Accommodates 3 adults, 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.  Guests also benefit from 6hrs babysitting per stay, (free of charge with prior notice) and 20% discount at Santosha spa
  • Family Suite  – 2 connecting rooms with family benefits: 6hrs babysitting per stay, (free of charge with prior notice) and 20% discount at Santosha spa

All rooms are approx 43 sqm except the Deluxe Family rooms which benefit from 59 sqm.

Eight rooms are designed specifically for the less mobile and those who require a wheelchair.  All are wheelchair accessible wth a grip rail in the ensuite and hand rail in the shower.  All public areas around the resort are easily accessible.

  • Show – the main restaurant, welcomes guests for bountiful buffet breakfasts 7am-10am and fun-filled theatrical dinners 7pm-10pm.
  • Playa – Beach restaurant offering a la carte dining for lunch and dinner set to the sound of lapping waves with a Mediterranean-inspired menu - open 9am to 10pm
  • B Bar – lounge bar open 9am-midnight - serves lunch and ice creams 12-3pm
  • Burger Truck - serves up a choice of mouthwatering burgers accompanied by crispy homemade fries from 12-3pm.
  • Ice Cream Parlour -  located within B Bar - all homemade on-site, offering the favourite classic flavours, or choose from an ever-changing lineup of exciting new sorbets and gelato
  • Jalsa Night Club - the perfect spot for socialising, enjoying a drink with friends or dancing late into the night

Dress code in the restaurants: During the day, you may wear casual beach wear, but all swimwear must be covered when in restaurants. During the evenings, the dress code is smart casual after 6pm, with gentlemen wearing long trousers and closed shoes.

  • The spacious beach is ideal for playing in the sand
  • The resorts complimentary TamTam Cub is a great place for the kids' to learn about the nature and culture of Mauritius through a range of indoor and outdoor activities for ages 3-11 years. Activities include indoor games, pool games, Creole lessons, pillow fighting, face painting, crab hunting, fun on th ebeach, treasure hunt and glass bottom boat trip. Open from 9am-10pm.
  • The dedicated kids pool has sunbeds for little people and is supervised to give you extra peace of mind.
  • Studio 17 is the complimentary teens’ club. Hosted by enthusiastic supervisors, the older kids can have fun on their own terms, taking part in activities such as beach sports, language lessons and adventure trips for ages 12 - 17 years. Open from 8am - 11pm
    Activities include pool table, bocci balls, tennis, beach football, table tennis, water-polo, beach volloeyball, yoga, bike riding and giant games. Note - dress code applies when playing tennis - sports attire including sports shoes.
  • The Santosha MIndful Wellness Spa offers chocolate wraps and massages for children.
  • The Tamassa Family Room has one queen bed and a seperate room with bunk beds and kids bathroom and parents receive 6 hours of free babysitting per stay
  • Children under 6 years stay and eat free
  • The fisrt child under 12 years stays FREE on Bed and BreakfastBayby sitting is availabe on request
     

Dining:

Eat in any of the restaurants as per below:

  • Breakfast: at Show restaurant.
  • Lunch: at the restaurants and picnic baskets for excursions (request to be placed at reception 24 hours in advance)
  • Dinner: at Show (buffet restaurant) and at Playa (set menu). Guest in Tamassa Rooms receive a 20% discount at Playa
  • The hotel reserves the right to close up to one restaurant throughout the year.

Afternoon tea time: Served every afternoon at B Bar from 3pm to 5pm

Drinks (in all restaurants and bars):

  • A wide selection of beverages: Soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, wines, juices, mineral water, cocktails and liquors as per the scheduled opening hours of the restaurants and bars.  Each restaurant and bar has the “All Inclusive” beverage menus available, with full details of all choices included.

Note:

- For guests in Tamassa rooms will benefit from the All Inclusive package as from arrival at the hotel and finishes at noon on the day of departure.

- For guests in all other room categories, the All Inclusive package will starts upon arrival at hotel and ends on departure from the hotel on the last day of stay.
