Eating, Drinking and Nightlife
If you’re staying at one of the large resorts or hotels you’ll find that their restaurants are generally very good. But venturing away from your accommodation is a great idea too – you’ll find a huge variety of restaurants serving everything from Thai curries, pizza, sushi, Indian cuisine and Western classics.
There are all the Middle Eastern classic dishes too, if you’re looking for a more authentic local meal. Falafels and shawarma kebabs are readily available just about everywhere that food is sold.
During the month of Ramadan (approx. 27 May 2017 - 25 June 2017 & 16 May 2018 - 14 June 2018 - subject to change), locals will fast during the day. As such, there may be some restrictions on drinking outlets and some restaurants may be closed. However, you’ll still have a variety of dining options within your resort – speak to your travel consultant for more information.
