Island Inn Boutique Hotel

All Inclusive 7 nights from £1,319 per person Including Flights

Overview

Just 30 steps from the pristine beach at Carlisle Bay, the Island Inn Hotel is ideal for couples looking for a tranquil Caribbean holiday. A 24-room boutique hotel with a distinctly Caribbean flavour, we love the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. There are five different categories of room and we think it is well worth upgrading to one of the ‘Superior’ options if your budget will stretch to it. Recent refurbishments have added contemporary furnishings and décor, but retained all of the hotel’s unique charisma and character. This really is one of best boutique hotels in Barbados.

The hotel’s pool isn’t the largest we’ve come across but being the near Carlisle Bay beach more than makes up for it. For such a beautiful beach, we like how quiet and secluded it feels – the hotel will even provide a picnic hamper for you to enjoy if you’d like to eat on the beach. We found that dining here is a pleasure too. The Boardwalk Restaurant is famous for its eclectic blend of local and international cuisine.

Top Tip: If you can, arrange your stay around the annual race at the Garrison Savannah racecourse. The atmosphere is quintessentially Caribbean and a lot of fun. Alternatively, if you can’t make it then, get up early in the morning and watch the local racehorses go for a swim.
