Explore Tokyo

Tokyo to Hakone
Today you'll travel by rail to the mountain resort of Hakone, one of Japan's most scenic regions.

Hakone
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Hakone.
Cruise across Lake Ashi, ride the Hakone Ropeway over dramatic volcanic scenery, visit the renowned Open-Air Museum or simply unwind in a traditional onsen. If the weather is clear, you'll have the opportunity to admire unforgettable views of Mount Fuji.

Day 6
Hakone to Kyoto
Board one of Japan's famous bullet trains as you continue to Kyoto, the country's former imperial capital.
After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day discovering Kyoto at your own pace. Stroll through atmospheric streets lined with traditional wooden houses, browse local boutiques or enjoy dinner in one of Japan's finest culinary cities.

Highlights of Kyoto
Today's sightseeing tour introduces you to some of Kyoto's most iconic landmarks.
Visit the magnificent Tenryu-ji Temple before walking through the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Continue to the shimmering Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji and finish at the striking Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, famous for its seemingly endless pathway of bright red torii gates.

Kyoto at leisure
Today is free for you to explore more of Kyoto independently.

Day 9
Kyoto to Hiroshima
Travel by bullet train to Hiroshima.
Now a vibrant and welcoming city, Hiroshima is also a place of great historical significance. Spend the afternoon visiting the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome or enjoy the city's lively restaurant scene and famous okonomiyaki.

Day 10
Miyajima
This morning join a half-day walking tour to the sacred island of Miyajima.
One of Japan's most beautiful destinations, the island is home to the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, friendly wild deer and picturesque walking trails. Return to Hiroshima later in the day with free time to continue exploring.

Hiroshima to Osaka
Continue your journey to Osaka, Japan's energetic second city.

Discover Osaka
Today's included walking tour takes you to one of the city's most famous landmarks, Osaka Castle.

Depart Osaka
Enjoy your final morning in Japan before your transfer takes you to the Airport for your flight home.
