Bangkok at Night by Tuk Tuk
Overview
Bangkok is famous for its incredible street food, buzzing nightlife and the tuk tuk. Ideal for couples and families this tour starts at your hotel where you will be picked up in a tuk tuk and driven to Chinatown to experience the bright lights of Yaowarat road and Odeon Circle. Wind your way through the series of narrow alleys that offer a great insight into the Chinese community and how they have preserved their culture.
Tonight, you will taste at least seven different local Thai and Chinese dishes from the different street food vendors available. These will vary but may include Satay (grilled meat with a peanut source), Sala Pow (steamed buns with meat or vegetables inside), Khao Mun Gai (Hainanese-style chicken rice), Bamee Moo Daeng (noodles with slices of red pork), Khao Niew Mamuang (mango sticky rice) and Bua Loy Nam Khing (rice dough balls filled with sesame paste in hot ginger juice).
After your feast, jump back onto your tuk tuk and head to Thatien Pier for a short photo stop of Wat Arun. Carry on through Pak Klong Talad Market which is best visited at night when there are fresh deliveries of flowers, fruit and spaces. You continue with a drive through Rattanakosin, the original area of Bangkok where you will see the magnificent temples and buildings of the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Democracy Monument. Finish your night with a drink at The Press Sky Bar whilst enjoying the wonderful panoramic views the bar has to offer (DTM).
