Useful facts for your holiday to Koh Phangan

Flight and Transfers

You cannot fly direct to Koh Phangan. Instead you must fly from London to either Phuket (13 hours) or Bangkok (12 hours). From here you’ll need to get a coach or taxi to the crossing point near Surat Thani, where you’ll catch a ferry to Koh Phangan. Be aware that Phuket is the most sensible airport to fly into. From Phuket it’s around a 6 hour taxi ride, followed by a 3 hour ferry trip. You could also fly to Bangkok, then take a domestic flight to Koh Samui, then take a boat across. Either way, getting to Koh Phangan takes a long time
