Overview

The only resort in the Laamu Atoll, Six Senses Laamu is desirably remote and secluded, offering a true castaway feeling mixed with luxuriousness and indulgence. Surrounded by a lagoon abundant in dolphin pods, and framed by a sugary sand beach, this is a truly beautiful getaway.

The mix of land and water villas are created with sustainable materials, adding a cool environmentally-friendly touch to this already fabulous resort. Each villa offers a wonderful escape from modern day stresses, with lovely thatched beach house vibes and stunning views. Each has its own treetop deck that juts out from the roof and offers a panoramic view of the naturally beautiful surroundings.

For the ultimate indulgence, treat yourself to a stay in one of the overwater villas. You’ll have direct access to the ocean, a lovely netted hammock above the water, and even a glass bottom bathtub. The Laamu Water Villa with Pool is the ideal choice for an unforgettable honeymoon.

Six Senses Laamu is undeniably romantic, but there’s plenty for the family too. The Family Villa with Pool is perfect for a large family, and the kids club has a wide range of amazing activities to keep little ones happy – including treasure hunting, pizza making and snorkelling. You could even get the whole family together and head out on a sunset dolphin cruise, before settling down on a sun lounger in front of the resort’s outdoor cinema.

There are a variety of sumptuous restaurants here, most of which jut out over the lagoon. Longitude’s flavoursome international cuisine and open-air seating is great for the family, whilst Zen offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with sensational Japanese fusion cuisine served with a chilled and casual atmosphere are the sound of the ocean waves.
