Chic and stylish, STORY Seychelles is a charming boutique property in the north-west of Mahe. Surrounded by a crescent of fine white sand, this is a beautiful, romantic resort with luxury amenities and pretty décor – including a myriad of colourful mosaics dotted around the property.

Blending authentic Seychelles heritage with modern facilities, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring a private balcony or terrace complete with sunbeds. For a true taste of luxury you can upgrade to a Beach Villa which features its own private pool, as well as beautiful decking for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

The six restaurants on offer here are truly sumptuous and a feast for all the senses, with a myriad of delicious cuisines, and spectacular décor to match. For an extra special evening, be sure to reserve a space at Tete-a-Tete, a gorgeous small restaurant offering a romantic, tailor-made evening under the stars.

Should you wish to bring the family to this remarkable resort, there’s lots to keep the children entertained as mum and dad indulge in a spa treatment – the Tree Tops kid’s club offers plenty of fun activities, and there’s also a shallow children’s pool close to the beach.

Meanwhile, couples will love the soothing Sesel Spa – its eight tranquil treatment rooms named after essential oils surround a picturesque garden, with a few spots to sit and relax to the sounds of the water features and the smell of calming oils. There’s even a yoga pavilion if you fancy getting a bit of Zen.

Based in Mahé, the resort is nestled on the coast of the popular Beau Vallon Bay, with the bay’s vibrant restaurants and shops only a 10 minute beach walk away. The hotel is also close by to Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles, with its small version of Big Ben and local markets.

Inside is a plush king-size or twin bed and a cozy lounge area. The elegant bathroom includes a freestanding tub, double sinks, and a separate rain shower. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (1 child under 6 years and 1 child under 12 years) OR 3 adults
  • Junior Suite with Garden Terrace – 55sqm rooms featurung a private terrace overlooking the resort gardens for a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the tranquil setting. Each bedroom offers a king-size or twin beds and a cozy lounge area for relaxation. The bathroom includes a freestanding tub, double sinks, and a separate rain shower. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (1 child under 6 years and 1 child under 12 years) OR 3 adults.
  • Family Suite - 110sqm rooms combining two Junior Suites connected by a private corridor, it features one king-size bed, two twin beds, and the option of a single shared entrance for added exclusivity. Each room has its own fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower, ensuring comfort and convenience. Spacious interiors offer plenty of natural light and balcony views. Sleeps 4 adults and 2 children under 12 years OR 6 adults
  • Beach Pool Villa – 150sqm ocean view villas with a private pool, deck, and cabana with direct access to the beach. The bathroom opens to a private terrace with a bathtub and indoor-outdoor showers. Inside, a king-size bed with a soft canopy, a lounge area, and a dining space. Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child under 12 years.
  • Grand Beach Pool Villa – 250sqm very large and luxurious villas. Secluded yet close to the ocean, offering unmatched space and comfort. Inside you will find a canopied king-size bed, a generous lounge, a sofa, a separate dining room, and a full range of luxury amenities. Outside is a private terrace, a large pool, sun deck, cabana, and an open-air rain shower. Sleeps  2 adults and 2 children under 12 years OR 3 adults + 1 child under 12 years 
  • Family Grand Beach Pool Villa - 400sqm room made up of a Grand Beach Villa with a Beach Pool Villa to provide the ultimate space for a family seeking the privacy of separated bedrooms and living space. It features two elegant bedrooms with king-size beds, two spacious bathrooms with separate bathtubs and rain showers, and two relaxing lounge areas. Two private pools and direct access to the beach. Sleeps 4 adults and 2 children under 12 years  OR 3 adults + 3 children under 12 years

  • Vasco’s – Named after the explorer who first discovered the Seychelles, enjoy a carefully curated four-course set menue. Open for breakfast from 7am - 10.30am and Dinner from 6.30pm - 10pm
  • Eden – A pretty restaurant hidden in  a tropical garden, serving a range of barbequed meats and seafood
    Opening times: Monday-Friday 7pm to 10pm, reservations required
  • Trader Vic’s – A fantastic international restaurant, home to the famous Mai Tai cocktail and innovative cooking methods – including a Chinese wood-fired oven. Open Sunday to Thursday: 6pm – 11pm, Fridays & Saturdays: 6pm – 12am. Closed on Mondays
  • Seyshima – An intimate Japanese restaurant serving flavoursome, authentic teppanyaki cuisine – the name is a blend of ‘Sey’ for Seychelles, and ‘Shima’, the Japanese term for island. Open daily from 6.30pm - 10pm
  • Ripples Pool Bar – A cool poolside bar offering delicious cocktails, soft drinks, and light lunches. Open daily from 11am - 7pm
  • Kouler Kreol – The resort's main bar features an extensive selection of beverages, including wines, beers, and cocktails, along with an outdoor area dedicated to shishaOpen daily from 11am - 11pm
  • Tete-a-Tete – A romantic beachside dining experience under the stars, with a sumptuous tailor-made experience. Reservations will need to be made in advance as there is only one experience per night.  You’ll have a quick meeting with the executive chef to ensure your experience is memorable
    Opening times: 7pm - 10pm, reservations required. (Not included in half board)

  • Families can also participate in cooking classes where they learn to prepare traditional Seychellois dishes.
  • The family pool is designed with shallow areas for younger children, making it safe and accessible for all ages. There are also poolside loungers and cabanas where families can unwind.
  • Tree Tops Kid’s Club is a fun club is for children aged 3-12 years old, offering lots of fun activities including arts and crafts, lots of games and toys, and even a room for napping. Open from 9am to 5pm
