Set in a secluded bay, the Calabash Hotel offers an intimate, private and relaxing stay in suite accommodation and gourmet cuisine. There are many activities on offer including tennis, snorkelling and kayaking and those who prefer to take it easy can enjoy the soft white sandy beach or an aromatherapy massage in the treatment room.

Located in a prime location on the white sands of L’Anse aux Epines in Grenada, this resort guarantees elegance and relaxation.   • Westside Suites – These modern, 43sqm suites are closest to the beach, with scenic balconies or patios, a separate lounge area, and a king size bed that can be split into two twins. Sleeps a maximum of two adults.
  • Junior Suites – Gorgeous 50sqm, open plan suites with beautiful views from the large balconies over the gardens to the Caribbean Sea. Features king size bed that can be split into two twins. Sleeps a maximum of two adults and one child.
  • Deluxe Suites – There are ten of these contemporary 60sqm suites, featuring a walk-in wardrobe, a larger balcony or patio, and a king size bed that can be split into two twins. Sleeps a maximum of two adults and one child.
  • Superior Deluxe Suites - WIth a contemporary caribbean style, these 93 sqm suites are on the ground floor and include one King Bed and a sofa bed, with a separate living and bedroom area.  They also have a separate fully equipped kithcen and spacious bathroom with double sink, double walk in shower and free standing bath tun.  Sleeps a maximum of 3 people
  • Pool Suites – Luxurious 58sqm suites, featuring a large patio and an opulent private pool plus an outdoor shower and free standing bath tub on the pool deck. Sleep a maximum of two adults and one child,
  • Penthouse Suite – Incredibly indulgent 186sqm suites, with a private pool fit with its own lounge area, plus a king sized four poster bed, a large walk-in wardrobe, double shower, and double whirlpool bath. Sleeps a maximum of two adults.

There are also 2 Bedroom options of the following rooms types:

  • Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite - adding an additional bedroom to the Deluxe Suite and sleeping a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children
  • Two Bedroom Suite with Pool - adding an additional bedroom to the Pool Suite and sleeping a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child

  • The Pool House – A beautiful villa with two bedrooms, both featuring their own private bathroom, TV & cable box. The villa also includes an open lounge that leads onto the private infinity pool. The top floor bedroom has a king size four posted bed, whilst the downstairs bedroom has two twins. Sleeps a maximum of two adults, two children.
  • Tree Frog – A contemporary styled villa with incredible amenities, including a spacious kitchen and breakfast room, a dining room, a TV room, and a lounge leading out onto the furnished patio and infinity pool. There’s even a gym/games room with a pool table, table tennis, a running machine, free weights, and a cycling machine. The villa features five bedrooms, two with king beds, one with two queen beds, and two with two twin beds. Each room features its own bathroom. Sleeps a maximum of 10 guests.
  • Caribali – A spectacular villa featuring a dining room, living room and TV room. French doors from the lounge and dining room lead onto the furnished patio and infinity pool featuring natural river stones. Also features five bedrooms, all of which include a king bed and their own private bathrooms. Sleeps a maximum of 10 guests.
  • Hummingbird – Named as one of the world’s best hotel villas by Conde Nast Traveller, this opulent villa features a spacious kitchen, a breakfast room, dining room, cloakroom, maid’s room, and a picturesque furnished patio with a sunny pool deck and gazebo. There are five bedrooms, four have king beds, one has two twin beds, and all feature a private bathroom. The master bedroom also has its own office. Sleeps a maximum of 10 guests.

Guests in the villas stay on a Villa Only basis with full access to the resort facilities including all restaurants as detailed above.

  • Rhodes Restaurant - fine dining, vine-covered, restaurant, offering fresh ingredients with a local flair.  Open 5 evenings per week.
  • The Beach Club - offering casual beach side dining from tapas and salads to large plates.  Open for lunch daily and dinner two evenings per week
  • Nori - formerly known as Izakaya, Nori offers a casual dining experience with a diverse range of Japanese and NIkkei (Peruvian) cuisine, ideal for sharing.  Open for dinner, five evenings per week
  • Breakfast is cooked to order and served on your balcony or patio each day, or you could even enjoy your breakfast on the beach
  • Afternoon tea is served daily in the main lounge from 3.30-4.30pm.
  • Evening canapes are delivered to your suite every evening at 6pm

 

DRESS CODE:
The Beach Club requires cover ups are worn over bathing suites. For Rhodes Restaurant please note that sleeveless shirts for men, sports clothing, slippers (flip flops), trainers (sneakers) and beachwear are not permitted.

Guests staying in a suite may choose to stay on a Bed and Breakfast, Half Board or All Inclusive basis.  Villa guests will stay on a Villa Only basis - see details under the accommodation section.

Romance/Honeymoon promotion

For stays between 05 Apr-20 Dec 2025, in all sute categories, and on all meal plans with two people sharing a room, receive:

  • One 60 minute swedish massage per person per stay
  • A one suite category upgrade (subject to availabity) - not available for Pool and Penthouse Suites
  • A bottle of chilled prosecco on arrival

  • One romantic candlelit dinner for two on the beach (based on 3 courses per person, including one bottle of house wine)

 

The hotel often closes during the late summer and autumn months. It will close in from 31st July to 1st October 2024, and from 23rd July to 1st October 2025, and similar dates annually.

A minimum stay of 7 nights applies for stays between 21st December - 4th January and of 4 nights for stays throughout February.
A minumum stay of 7 nights applies in all villas on all dates  year-round.
