Overview

Portobay Falesia is located directly above the stunning 8km Falesia Beach, which can be accessed by wooden steps located to the side of the hotel.  If you decide to spend time around the pool area of the hotel, you won’t be disappointed as you can take in beautifully kept grounds, with plenty of sun-beds and seating areas, many overlooking the cliffs and the fabulous beach.

There are two restaurants in the hotel, giving a choice of buffet meals in the Madeira Restaurant, or a la carte meals in the Falesia Restaurant. Breakfast is served in the Madeira Restaurant with a good choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruit and hot food. If you booked bed and breakfast you have the choice of booking a table at the excellent hotel Falesia Restaurant where you will enjoy excellent cuisine and service or just a 10-minute walk away, you can enjoy fabulous local food in a number of restaurants at the quaint oceanfront village of Olhos de Aqua.

PortoBay Falesia has a good selection of different room types, but we particularly recommend, a junior suite on a high floor, which is well equipped with a separate living room and bathroom with walk-in shower where you can enjoy wonderful pool and ocean views.

  • Falesia Bar – if you want to spend your day around the pool, enjoy light a la carte meals, snacks, fruit juices and special children’s menus. Open 10.30am–7pm (summer)
