What’s not Included

  • Personal expenditures

  • Early or late check-out

Group size consists of a maximum of 18 people.

Luggage: Each traveller is permitted two pieces of luggage: one suitcase weighing no more than 20kg and one item of hand luggage weighing up to 5kg. Please ensure that your luggage is lockable.

Fitness level: A reasonable level of fitness is essential, as you’ll need to be comfortable walking for extended periods and covering longer distances. Activities such as walking and cycling will be carried out at a relaxed pace and across generally easy terrain, though some inclines may be encountered.
Sightseeing will involve both short and extended periods of walking

  • In Hoang Su Phi, daily hikes may last up to 5 hours
  • In Hue and the Mekong Delta, bicycle tours are included and may involve riding over uneven surfaces
  • Some days will involve lengthy drives, particularly the journey between Hanoi and Hoang Su Phi
  • Throughout the itinerary, you’ll need to board and disembark from boats of varying sizes

Tipping: Tipping is a common practice in Southeast Asia, though it can sometimes be confusing to know who to tip and how much. To make things easier for our travellers, this has a straightforward tipping policy in place. At the start of your journey, you’ll give a set amount to your national escort, who will manage and distribute tips fairly among key service providers throughout your tour – including local guides and drivers. This system ensures a hassle-free experience for you, while also offering fair recognition to those supporting your trip. The amount has been carefully calculated to balance fairness to local staff with ease for our guests, and it also includes a gratuity for your national escort.
Tipping for minor services, such as hotel porters or restroom attendants, remains entirely optional and should be based on your personal satisfaction.
